PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save communication resources when radio communication is performed in a peer-to-peer mode.SOLUTION: A communication device obtains information on an Internet protocol from an opposite communication device, and disables an unused protocol on the basis of the information. The communication device obtains information on a version of the protocol, and disables a version other than the obtained version. Furthermore, the communication device obtains information on a communication protocol in an application layer, and disables a communication protocol other than the communication protocol in the application layer based on the obtained information.
