<p>A glass plate package body, wherein displacement occurring between glass plates and protective sheets, which plates and sheets are included in the glass plate stack body, during transportation is reduced as much as possible to prevent flaws on the glass plates and to ensure high work efficiency of taking out of the glass plates after the transportation is completed. A glass plate package body (1) comprises a glass plate stack body (4) supported from below by a support surface (3) of a pallet (2), and the glass plate stack body (4) is formed by horizontally stacking glass plates (6) on each other with a protective sheet (5) provided between each pair of adjacent glass plates (6). The glass plate package body (1) is configured such that, when a force acting in a surface direction which is a direction along the support surface (3) is applied to the pallet (2), the amount of slip in the surface direction occurring between the lowermost layer of the glass plate stack body (4) and the support surface (3) is greater than the amount of slip in the surface direction occurring between the glass plates (6) and the protective sheets (5).</p> |
