The present invention relates to a BOP test apparatus and method. The present invention enables to perform a test for the BOP apparatus more stably and conveniently by relatively lessening a load of a main internal pressure supply unit as the internal pressure is primarily supplied to the BOP apparatus by moving the BOP apparatus downward and pressuring a liquid by self-weight. In addition, the present invention provides the BOP test apparatus and method which can be easily applied to various types of the BOP apparatus. The present invention comprises: a test wellhead which is settled down and combined as the BOP equipment moves downward; and an auxiliary internal pressure supply unit which supplies an internal pressure to the BOP equipment in the process where the BOP equipment is coupled with the test wellhead.
