<p>Provided are an apparatus and a method for controlling an electric brake device, which includes a first detection unit detecting at least one of an initial current operation input signal applied to an electric brake device to operate the electric brake device and a current operation output signal outputted from the electric brake device; a control unit receiving at least one of the initial current operation input signal and the current operation output signal detected by the first detection unit and including a preset reference initial operation input signal range and a preset reference operation output signal range; a first determination unit determining whether at least one of the initial current operation input signal and the current operation output signal detected by the first detection unit deviates from at least one of the reference initial operation input signal range and the reference operation output signal range in accordance to the control of the control unit; and a first brake force control unit controlling the brake force of the electric brake device by enabling at least one of the initial current operation input signal and the current operation output signal to be within at least one of the reference initial operation input signal range and the reference operation output signal range in accordance to the control of the control unit when at least one of the initial current operation input signal and the current operation output signal is detertmined to deviate from at least one of the reference initial operation input signal range and the reference operation output signal range in the first determination unit.</p> |
