The device has a pump (15) provided for supplying washing liquid to projection devices (9). The pump is leveled to a wiping brush (5) and/or a drive arm (7). One of the projection devices is configured to sprinkle washing liquid from a side of the brush, and another projection device is configured to sprinkle the washing liquid from a side opposite to the brush. A distribution unit (11) selectively distributes the washing liquid toward the projection devices. A control unit controls the pump and the distribution unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for supplying washing liquid to a windscreen wiper system of a vehicle.
