The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition with the improved solubility and dissolution stability of a specific indole compound of chemical formula 1 using polyol. The cosmetic composition of the present invention has the excellent stability even while being stored for a long period. Provided in the present invention for achieving the subject is a method for increasing the solubility and dissolution stability of a specific indole compound of the chemical formula 1 by using an alkali neutralizing agent, preferably a method for improving the stability by increasing the solubility of the specific indole compound of the chemical formula 1.
