Disclosed are a light emitting device and a method of fabricating the same. The light emitting device includes a support substrate, a light emitting chip which has electrodes separated with each other in a lower part and is formed on the support substrate, a sidewall part which surrounds the side of the light emitting chip, and a support part which fills a space between the electrodes. The light emitting chip is separated from a growth substrate. According to the present invention, the reliability of a semiconductor package can be improved.
