The present invention discloses a small optical line fault analysis supporting apparatus and an operating method thereof capable of analyzing a fault section of an optical line by utilizing an external calculation apparatus and an optical signal transmission and reception module applied to normal optical equipment instead of an existing integral OTDR device.
