1. A printing control apparatus comprising:
an acquisition unit configured to acquire a candidate of a size of a print medium which is obtained by detecting a size of the print medium with a sensor; a determination unit configured to determine whether the candidate acquired by the acquisition unit is included in a plurality of acceptable sizes if the plurality of sizes is previously set to be acceptable for printing in print setting of print target data; and a print control unit configured to control a printing unit to print an image based on the print target data in the size corresponding to the candidate if the determination unit determines that the candidate is included in the plurality of sizes, and control not to print the image based on the print target data with the print medium if the determination unit determines that the candidate is not included in the plurality of sizes.
