an acquisition unit configured to acquire a candidate size of a print medium, the candidate size being obtained by a sensor detecting the size of the print medium; a determination unit configured to determine whether a print medium size is set as a print setting for print target data; and a print control unit configured to, if the determination unit determines that the print medium size is set as the print setting, cause a printing unit to print an image with a size corresponding to the print medium size based on the print target data, and, if the determination unit does not determine that the print medium size is set as the print setting, cause the printing unit to print an image with a size corresponding to the candidate size acquired by the acquisition unit based on the print target data. |
