An electrosurgical instrument for use with an electrosurgical generator, wherein the electrosurgical instrument incorporates a signal modificator having an input end electrically or connectable to the electrosurgical generator and an output end electrically connected to one or more electrodes of the electrosurgical instrument, where the signal modificator is adapted to modify a continuous signal from the electrosurgical generator into a pulsing signal to the one or more electrodes of the electrosurgical instrument and comprises a circuit for providing the pulsing signal. |
