Disclosed are hair styling compositions comprising at least two latex polyurethane polymers, wherein at least one latex polyurethane polymer is a film-forming polymer. Methods of styling the hair are also disclosed.

1. A hair styling composition comprising at least two latex polyurethane polymers,
wherein at least one latex polyurethane polymer is a film-forming polymer; wherein the at least two latex polyurethane polymers are present in a combined amount ranging from about 0.1% to about 30% by weight, relative to the weight of the composition; wherein the at least two latex polyurethane polymers are present in the composition in a weight ratio ranging from about 10:1 to about 1:10; and wherein said composition, produces a film having a Young's modulus ranging from about 0.05 MPa to about 5 GPa, and a strain, under stress at 0.5 MPa, that ranges up to about 300%.
