摘要 The present invention relates to a positive electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery. More specifically, the positive electrode active material does not have Co and has a concentration gradient of Ni and Mn from the center and the surface. According to the present invention, the positive electrode active material includes: a center part represented by Chemical Formula 1; and a surface part represented by Chemical Formula 2. Density of Ni gradually decreases and density of Mn increases from the center part to the surface part. The positive electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery has excellent electricity charging and discharging properties and excellent lifespan properties.
