Compound transparent sheets. -The edges of laminated sheet material, particularly compound transparent sheets, are coated or sealed with finely divided metal preferably sprayed on in a molten state. The spray may be caused by melting a wire in a nozzle fed with combustible mixture including compressed air. Various metals may be used, such as tin or zinc and aluminium with suitable fluxes.
