The present invention relates to a composition for inhibiting angiogenesis containing a reovirus as an effective ingredient. The reovirus destroys a cellular tissue layer of vascular endothelial cells in an invasion microfluidic chip model of vascular endothelial cells by cancer cell line, and meaningfully inhibits angiogenesis to a tumor induced to spontaneous generation. The reovirus can be used as an effective ingredient of a pharmaceutical composition and a health food for inhibiting angiogenesis.
