<p>A baffle 201 adapted for attachment to an edge of a peak of a peaked cap, the baffle comprising an attachment portion for attaching the baffle to at least a portion of the edge of the peak; and a water resistant flange 202 extending from the attachment portion so that the flange and the peak form a reservoir 205 capable of retaining liquid. The attachment portion preferably comprises at least one groove or clip for cooperation with the edge of the peak. The peak and baffle may each have one half of an attachment system such as pop fasteners, magnetic strips, hook and loop material, and plug and socket fasteners. The baffle may be formed from polypropylene or high density polyethylene. Also claimed is a peaked cap comprising a water resistant protruding flange. The flange may comprise a flexible water resistant material, and may possess biasing means to bias the flange away from the peak.</p> |
