This highly flexible electric wire is provided with a conductor (1) and an insulating material layer (2) that covers the conductor. In addition, a liquid lubricant (3) is interposed between the conductor and the insulating material layer. The lubricant contains at least one substance that is selected from the group consisting of polyethylene glycols, polypropylene glycols and fluorine-based lubricants. Due to this configuration, lubricity between the conductor and the insulating material layer is improved, thereby enabling enhancement of the flexibility.
