<p>A transport mechanism-agnostic communication system is described. The system may include a plurality of electronic devices, each configured with at least one transport mechanism, and at least one electronic device being configured with two or more heterogeneous transport mechanisms. The at least one electronic device is capable of communicating with each of the plurality of electronic devices and may include a processor, in communication with a memory, configured to execute instructions to translate and route data packets received from a first electronic device over a first transport to a second electronic device over a second heterogeneous transport, wherein the first electronic device can communicate with the second electronic device via the at least one electronic device.</p> |
