An apparatus 100 comprising a proximal end adapter 122, a distal end adapter 124, a support tube 126, and a flexible diffuser membrane 114. The support tube 126 is disposed between the proximal end adapter 122 and the distal end adapter 124, and comprises an outward facing surface 130 that defines a series of ridges 132 thereon. The diffuser membrane 114, in turn, defines a plurality of perforations 134, and surrounds at least a respective portion of each of the proximal end adapter 122, the distal end adapter 124, and the support tube 126.
