Provided are a protection path calculation method, and a related device and system. Shared risk link group (SRLG) information about each link of an operating path is acquired by a first node of a protection path, the SRLG information about each link of the operating path being unique within a multi-domain range, so that the SRLG information about each link of the operating path can also be correctly expressed across domains, that is, correctly distinguished whether a certain link shares a risk with another link or not. By using the SRLG information about each link among all the links of the operating path, the protection path which is separated from an SRLG of the operating path is calculated, so as to exclude a link having the same SRLG information as any link on the operating path and exclude a link having a mapping relationship with a link having the same SRLG information as any link on the operating path, thereby avoiding the situation where a link of a non-operating path should not be eliminated, and effectively increasing the survivability of cross-domain services in a communication network. |
