<p>A device for braking an object (1) moving in a fluid comprises a flexible link (2) of which the cross-section has a large width and a small width, one first end of which is secured to the object (1), and means for applying a force (30) to the second end of the flexible link, the flexible link (2) being movable at least between a first position in which it has a high drag coefficient, in the direction of movement of the object (1), and a second position in which it has a low drag coefficient, in the direction of movement of the object (1), the force (30) applied to the second end of the flexible link tending to move the flexible link (2) to the first position, and the reaction force of the fluid during the movement of said object (1) tending to deform the flexible link (2) towards the second position.</p> |
