The vehicle i.e. wheelchair (10), has two removable running wheels (14) comprising motor boosters, where energy storage units (16) for the boosters are removably arranged outside the wheels on the vehicle. The wheels are connectable with the vehicle and a control electronic unit over interfaces. The interfaces of the electronic unit signal left and right sides of the vehicle and are connected to the wheels for supplying current to the sides of the vehicle according to a desired drive behavior of the wheels. The storage units are arranged under a front half of a seat (12). The energy storage units are designed as rechargeable batteries.
