ILLUMNANT, PARTICULAR FOR MOTOR VEHICLES

The illumnant consists of a light module (1) and a complementary module (2). The light module (1) features an enclosure (11) for receiving the reflector (12), which is on the front side closed with a light non- permeable wall (13), while the complementary module (2) includes at least a selected light source (251, 252, 254, 254) with the corresponding supply and control elements (23, 25) and corresponding enclosure (20) which is on the rear side closed by a cover (24) and includes a front wall (200) madefrom heat conductive material looking towards the light module (1) and at least one passage (202) located directly next to the aforementioned wall (200) standing in at least approximately vertical direction. Such a concept on one side but also with a relatively small illumnant ensures the possibility that instead of the currently used standard bulbs LED diodes (251, 252, 253, 254) can be used as the light source. From the aspect of installation into any vehicle the relevant external dimensions of theilluminant regardless of the selected light source (251, 252, 253, 254) remain practically unchanged. At the same time the key components of the illuminant despite the specified alternative option of selecting the light source (251, 252, 253, 254) remain completely unchanged.
