The present invention relates to an elastic yarn comprising an elastomeric core, and a non-elastomeric yarn arranged around a core of elastomer to cover it at least partially, wherein the elastomer has a linear mass density comprised in the range from 20 to 80 dens and the non-elastomeric yarn covering at least partially the elastomeric core is a yarn obtained from an oxygenating polymer and has linear mass density comprised between 10 and 140 dens, preferably between 20 and 90 dens. The invention further concerns a fabric and garments using such a yarn. An antibacterial yarn can be added to the fabric. Furthermore, an additional yarn according to the present invention has fibers of oxygenating polymer and fibers of antibacterial yarn. |
