Provided are a radio communication apparatus, a radio communication system and a radio communication method whereby when the transmission powers for respective modulation schemes are different from one another, changing modulation schemes can be stabilized. A radio communication apparatus (1) comprises a modulation scheme determination means (12) and a transmission means (14). The modulation scheme determination means (12) determines whether to change modulation schemes, on the basis of the reception power of a radio signal received from another radio communication apparatus that is, for example, a transmission station. The transmission means (14) transmits, to the other radio communication apparatus, determined modulation scheme information indicating a modulation scheme determined by the modulation scheme determination means (12). The modulation scheme determination means (12) is configured such that the determination result is fixed on the basis of a predetermined requirement. |
