Provided is an information processing method, wherein: set pseudo-multipole information is acquired of a pseudo-multipole wherein poles (p1, p2), corresponding to a plurality of points of an image of a prescribed single frame (20), are set such that color information of each of the poles corresponds to color information of a subject (2) (S10); a location of the pseudo-multipole in an initial frame is specified, and a pseudo-multipole searched for from an image in a single frame in a video which has each pole of a color which has a color correspondence with the color information of each pole of the acquired set pseudo-multipole, and wherein the distance between the poles is within a prescribed distance (S14); the location of the searched pseudo-multipole is specified in the image in the single frame in the video (S17); and the subject is tracked from the specified location of the pseudo-multipole in the single-frame image and a specified location of the pseudo-multipole in an image of a frame which is one frame prior in the play direction of the video (S18). |
