The objective of the invention is to allow the termination of a connection established between an iOS terminal and a peripheral device, such as printer or the like, to be easily executed from an application program. It is arranged that: an iOS terminal (11) establishes a wireless connection between the iOS terminal (11) and a Bluetooth-capable printer (20), transmits print data to the printer (20), and thereafter transmits, to the printer (20), a reset command for a Bluetooth module thereof; the Bluetooth module of the printer (20), therefore, be reset in response to reception of the reset command; and during this reset, the Bluetooth connection established between the iOS terminal (11) and the printer (20) be terminated. In this way, even if no API for terminating the Bluetooth connection is present on the OS side of the iOS terminal (11), the termination of the connection established between the iOS terminal (11) and the printer (20) can be easily executed from an application program of the iOS terminal (11). |
