Method for adjusting a reference voltage according to a band-gap circuit

The method involves measuring a first band-gap voltage with a resistor value set by a binary word at a temperature, and measuring a second band-gap voltage with another resistor value set by another binary word at the temperature. A third band-gap voltage is measured with the former resistor value at another temperature, and a fourth band-gap voltage is measured with the latter resistor value at the latter temperature. An appropriate binary word for configuring a resistor (R1a) is determined based on the band-gap voltages, to obtain a band-gap voltage independent of temperature variation. An independent claim is also included for an electronic circuit.
