Disclosed is a hot water heater having heating water, wherein hot water and steam are mixed, circulated along a heating flow channel for heat exchange to warmly heat portions around the heating flow channel. The disclosed hot water heater includes a heater generating heat by electrical energy; a heating unit heating the heating water introduced from one side to expand and discharge the heating water to the other side; a heating water circulation channel piped to enable the heating water discharged from the heating unit to be flowed while exchanging heat with surrounding portions; a heating water tank having an inner space accommodating the heating water and a check valve blocking backflow of the heating water to introduce the heating water passing through the heating water circulation channel and supply the heating water to the heating unit; and a controller controlling heat generation amount of the heater, wherein a virtual straight line connecting one side and the other side of the heating unit is extended to be inclined downward in 2-8° with respect to a horizontal line. |
