<p>Methods and systems for generating alerts or recommend incentives for a loyalty program that provides incentives to cardholders in connection with transactions between the cardholders and merchants are disclosed. A merchant is identified. Transaction data reflective of completed transactions are received by way of a network. The transaction data is processed to generate an alert notifying the identified merchant of an event or trend, or to generate a recommended incentive that defines a benefit to be provided by the identified merchant to a cardholder upon the occurrence of an anticipated transaction.</p> |
