Disclosed are a macro virus scanning method and system that are applied in an enterprise edition virus scanning application program. The method comprises: an enterprise edition client monitoring an operation of opening a specific type document, where the specific type document comprises an office software document; when a request of opening a target document is monitored, intercepting the request, and uploading the target document to an enterprise edition serving end; the enterprise edition serving end determining whether a macro virus is comprised in the target document; and returning a processing instruction to the enterprise edition client according to a determination result. By means of the foregoing method and system, the spread of macro viruses inside an enterprise network may be prevented more effectively. |
