The invention relates to a method for providing measurement data to a valuable document processing apparatus for processing valuable documents of different predefined processing types, which apparatus has a sensor device, a control device and a display device. According to said method: data sets are read, which each contain processing type data for at least two of the processing types, by means of which processing type data the processing types can be distinguished, and the number of the valuable documents of the respective processing type to be supplied to the valuable document processing apparatus; from the data sets, display data for activating the display device are determined in such a manner that the display device displays, on activation by the display data, the processing types and the number of the valuable documents of the respective processing type to be supplied; the display device is activated by the display data; measurement data are detected by means of the sensor device in accordance with the displayed processing types for a number, which corresponds to the respective number, of valuable documents supplied to the valuable document processing apparatus; and the measurement data are stored. |
