#CMT# #/CMT# The rolling mill comprises a front roll stand (2') and a rear roll stand (2''), in which metal strip (1) is successively rolled. A loop lifter is located between roll stands (2',2''), and is placed against the metal strip, so that a roller (6) of loop lifter is contacted with metal strip. The roller is connected to a speed measuring device (7) through flexible shaft (8), so that rotational speed (n) of roller is detected. The detected speed is fed to control unit (9) of rolling mill. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Rolling mill e.g. cold rolling mill for rolling metal strip.
