A fixing device (106) provided with: a fixing belt (61); a fixing roller (62) inserted into the inner side of the fixing belt (61); a pressing roller (63) pressing against the fixing belt (61); a coil (71) for generating magnetic flux to inductively heat the fixing belt (61); and a belt-restricting plate (64) for restricting the fixing belt (61) from moving in a prescribed direction, the belt-restricting plate (64) being provided on the side of an end surface of the fixing roller in the prescribed direction. The belt-restricting plate (64) has a multilayer structure including a resin layer (64a) disposed on the fixing belt (61) side and a non-magnetic metal layer (64b) disposed on the side opposite the fixing belt (61) side. |
