A charge/discharge device essentially composed of low cost passive component, which allows to charge/discharge a pack of supercapacitors for automotive applications without any risk for the operators and without danger of damaging the neighboring devices and materials and the same supercapacitors, comprises: an inner electric charge line connected to a supply terminal of the device; an inner electric ground discharge line connected to a ground terminal of the device; an inner electric output line connected to an output terminal of the device; an on-off-on toggle switch, configured: in a first extreme position, to connect said inner charge line with said inner output line, in a central position, to leave mutually disconnected said inner lines, in a second extreme position, to connect said inner output line with said inner ground discharge line; a passive bipolar resistive circuit having an overall resistance comprised between 0, 1 Ohms and 10 Ohms and inserted in said inner electric output line, comprising at least one power resistor installed on a heat sink. |
