This method for producing an electrode for lithium ion batteries comprises: a binder layer formation step wherein a binder layer having a surface that has an initial adhesive strength of 1 or more is formed on a collector; an adhesion step wherein a powder having a repose angle of 45° or less is brought into contact with the surface of the binder layer, thereby causing the powder to adhere thereto; and a compression step wherein the powder adhered in the adhesion step is compressed to a predetermined density.
