This electrical outlet is provided with an outlet box (1), a plurality of shutter bodies (6a, 6b), and movement-restricting structures. A plurality of plug receptacles (41a, 41b) are formed in the outlet box (1). The plurality of shutter bodies (6a, 6b) are provided so as to correspond respectively to the plurality of plug receptacles (41a, 41b). Each of the shutter bodies (6a, 6b) can move between a closed position in which both of a pair of insertion holes (42a, 42b) in the corresponding plug receptacle (41a, 41b) are closed and an open position in which both of said insertion holes (42a, 42b) are open, wherein if a pair of terminals are inserted, said shutter body (6a, 6b) moves from the closed position to the open position. The abovementioned movement-restricting structures are provided so as to correspond respectively to the plurality of plug receptacles (41a, 41b), and if a terminal is inserted into just one of the pair of insertion holes (42a, 42b) in a plug receptacle (41a, 41b), the corresponding movement-restricting structure prevents that shutter body (6a, 6b) from moving to the open position. |
