<p>Proposed is an optical arrangement, in particular for passively illuminating a pointer of a pointer instrument, comprising an annular light-guiding element whose first end face has at least one input face and whose second end face has at least one output face, and at least one light source whose light can be guided into the at least one input face, while the light exiting the output face is used to illuminate the pointer. In order to achieve a largely uniform brightness of the pointer at each point of the display region of the pointer instrument, the invention proposes that the light-guiding element (1) has a plurality of input (11) and output faces (12), wherein the output faces (12) are designed such that they only transmit light beams (16) whose emission angle to the perpendicular lies below a limit value, whereas light beams whose emission angle to the perpendicular lies above the limit value are subject to total internal reflection.</p> |
