A parking meter comprises a meter base (50) and a meter cover (60), and a meter core (10) installed inside the meter base (50) and the meter cover (60). A coin path (20) is provided at a lower segment of a front panel (11) of a shell of the meter core (10). The lower segment of the front panel (11) comprises a first panel (111) and a second panel (112) in a step form. The first panel (111) is convex relative to the second panel (112). The coin path (20) is provided on the first panel (111). A slider (30) is further comprised. The slider (30) comprises a slider upper segment (31) and a slider lower segment (32) in a step form. A through hole (114) for the slider (30) to easily pass through is provided at a joining wall (113) between the first panel (111) and the second panel (112) and below the coin path (20). A sliding groove (40) for the slider (30) to easily slide vertically is provided on the second panel (112). A coin slot (313) is opened on the slider upper segment (31). The slider upper segment (31) fits the coin path (20), and the slider lower segment (32) fits the sliding groove (40). When the meter is assembled, an upper end surface of the meter base (50) abuts the joining wall (113), and the slider lower segment (32) and the sliding groove (40) are located inside the meter base (50). By adopting a parking meter of the technology, when a coin slot is blocked, it is very simple and convenient to clean up, so as to ensure the normal work of the meter. |
