Provided is a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary cell in which, even when a collector terminal is welded to a collector unit, separation of the constituent materials of a mixture layer and detachment of the mixture layer are effectively suppressed. Also provided is a method enabling manufacture of said secondary cell with high productivity and lower cost. The present invention provides a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary cell having a layered structure in which power-generating elements including an electrode are layered. According to this aspect, the electrode includes an electrode collector and an electrode mixture layer provided to part of the electrode collector. The electrode collector contains a collector unit that is not provided with the electrode mixture layer of the electrode collector, the collector unit including a weld section that is welded to the collector unit of another electrode collector adjacent in the layering direction. The collector unit is provided with a vibration-absorbing member between the weld section and the electrode mixture layer. |
