Provided is a sealing device equipped with a pumping ring, which increases the flow of self-circulating fluid and makes increased lift possible. The pumping ring (160) is equipped with: through holes (161), which are provided so as to penetrate from the inner circumferential surface to the outer circumferential surface and serve as fluid passages; and inlet grooves (162), which are provided so as to run from the side surface of the inner circumferential surface on the side where a mechanical seal (M) is disposed to a through hole (161) and which guide the fluid to the through holes (161). The sealing device is characterized in that the outer circumferential surface of a sleeve (110) is provided with auxiliary inlet grooves (111) for guiding the fluid to the through holes (161) at positions that face the inlet grooves (162) and the through holes (161). |
