<p> An elevator hoist, wherein a housing has a cylindrical housing part having first and second axial-direction end parts, and a wall part provided at the first axial-direction end part. The wall part is provided with a ventilation hole. Air brought inside the housing through the ventilation hole passes through a gap between a stator and a rotor and exits the housing. The housing is provided with a cover. The cover conducts air that has exited the housing to the radially outward side of a rotation body farther toward the rotor than a drive sheave, and further conducts the air toward the first axial-direction end part along the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical housing part.</p> |
