Systems and methods for providing services are disclosed. One aspect comprises authenticating a user associated with a first service, receiving a selection of a second service, generating an opaque identifier associated with the user and the first service, wherein the opaque identifier facilitates the anonymous collection of data relating to the second service. Another aspect can comprise transmitting the opaque identifier to the second service, and receiving data relating to the second service.

1. A method comprising:
authenticating a user associated with a first service,
wherein the first service comprises a data aggregation service, andwherein the first service accesses demographic information about the user; presenting at least one service identifier to the user,
wherein one of the at least one service identifiers is associated with a second service, andwherein the second service comprises a content delivery service; receiving a selection of the one of the at least one service identifier associated with the second service from the user; generating an opaque identifier associated with the user, the first service, and the second service,
wherein the opaque identifier is transparent to the first service and anonymous to the second service; transmitting the opaque identifier to the second service to initiate the second service,
wherein the opaque identifier facilitates anonymous gathering of data by the second service relating to consumption of content from the second service; receiving the anonymously gathered data from the second service,
wherein the anonymously gathered data is associated with the opaque identifier by the second service; and generating information by associating the anonymously gathered data with the demographic information about the user based on the opaque identifier.
