摘要 The present invention relates to a method for detecting an object through a sampling scheme and a posterior probability. An initial image is acquired, and random sampling is performed with respect to the acquired initial image. A feature vector is extracted from a window of the sampled initial image. An object existence probability is calculated with respect to the window by a classifier and a posterior probability density function is calculated with respect to the initial image. Thereafter, a next image is acquired, and a sampling initial position of the next image is determined through the posterior probability density function of the initial image. A posterior probability density function is calculated with respect to a window of the next image, and at least one window is extracted from the next image through a Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) scheme. After determining the existence of an object from each window, the posterior probability density function is calculated with respect to the next image based on the determined object existence state.
