<p>The present invention relates to a compression drying method for plants and, more specifically, to a compression drying method for plants which is useful for manufacturing pressed flowers since plants are dried in a short time while keeping the unique features of the plants by performing hot air drying while pressing the plants with a heating plate by locating the plants between members such as absorptive paper, a sheet, a film, and the like. The present invention is able to compression-dry plants in large quantities in a short period of time and is able to obtain dried plants with high quality. Especially, the present invention is able to obtain the high quality dried products of Phlox subulata, columbines, Viola sororia, Trachelospermum asiaticum, bracken, and viola by parts. The compression drying method for plants of the present invention is expected to largely contribute to industrial development such as interior decoration, accessories, and the like using pressed flowers.
