1. A machine-implemented method of web page script management, said method comprising:
in a network appliance implemented by at least one processor, intercepting a number of packets sent from a server and addressed to a client browser; determining with the network appliance that a number of packets received in the network appliance comprise a web page comprising a first embedded script; modifying at least one said packet in the number of packets with the network appliance by replacing the embedded script from the web page with a second embedded script; forwarding the number of packets as modified by the network appliance to the client browser; and executing the first embedded script with the network appliance in response to receiving an indication that the client browser has executed the second embedded script.
