In this device, a correlation rule setting unit (102) sets a rule for correlating a preamble with an SRS transmission time interval so that the preamble transmission time band and the SRS transmission time band are in the same transmission time band. An SRS transmission band decision unit (103) decides a time interval of a transmission time band which can transmit the SRS according to the preamble transmission time interval inputted from a preamble transmission band decision unit (101) and the correlation rule setting unit (102).

a transmitter configured to:
transmit configuration information indicating subframes in which random access preambles may be transmitted to the communication device; andtransmit configuration information indicating subframes in which Sounding Reference Signals (SRSs) may be transmitted to the communication device; and a receiver configured to:
receive an SRS mapped to a last portion of a subframe; andreceive a random access preamble including a cyclic prefix added to a beginning of the random access preamble, the random access preamble being followed by a guard time during which nothing is transmitted, wherein when the random access preamble is received in the subframe, the SRS is temporally aligned with the guard time.
