The invention relates to an assembly for vaginal insertion and to a process for manufacturing the same. According to the invention, the assembly comprises a flexible retention fabric () made of an atraumatic material which is introduced into the vaginal cavity by means of an applicator (), the fabric () having a removing means () and a shorter fabric segment () obtained by the strangulation of the fabric () in a spot (), located inside the applicator () so that the fabric () becomes more rigid and makes it less penetrable. |
