<p>The present invention provides a rechargeable battery capable of smoothly inserting an electrode assembly into a case. The rechargeable battery according to one embodiment of the present invention includes the electrode assembly, the case in which the electrode assembly is received, a cap plate which is combined with an opening part of the case, an electrode terminal which is installed on the cap plate, a lead tab which electrically connects the electrode assembly to the electrode terminal, and a retainer which is installed in the case, is combined with the lead tab, and is located between the lead tab and the case. The retainer includes an insertion inducing part which is inclined to the electrode assembly to be adjacent to the electrode assembly and is extended to be distant from the cap plate.</p> |
