The invention relates to a composition and a process for briquetting lignite with a SCP < 23865 kJ/kg in admixture with other materials in order to lower the emission of sulphur oxides resulting by combustion. The mixture composition claimed by the invention consists of 68...95% lignite of SCP < 23865 kJ/kg, 0.1% common fat clay, 0.1% polyvinyl acid, 0.25% biomass and wood waste, respectively, and 2.5% organic sulphur acceptor, and calcium, potassium, magnesium or barium oxide, calcium hydroxide, potassium, magnesium or barium hydroxide, calcium, potassium, magnesium or barium carbonate, dolomite, respectively. The process claimed by the invention for achieving the mixture composition consists in manually or mechanically selecting the lignite of SCP<23865 kJ/kg, preparing and dosing the elements, homogenizing the same by introducing them into a mixer and briquetting the mixture by cold pressing at pressures of 2...100 MPa. |
